I Hope you had a fabulous break and are ready for a rip roaring term!
Some new things that are happening this term are:
- Spelling homework with an in class test on Fridays
- Written basic facts test in class on Thursday
- Regular ICT - using ipads to enhance our learning on Tuesdays
- Class reporter on Fridays (each student will get a turn to report news to the class on Fridays
Our Inquiry topic this term is ADRON - to make more beautiful - we will be looking at how masks have been used to adorn people around the world.
The goal is to make a mask to adorn a character from a New Zealand story, which will then be presented to the junior syndicate community.
Our physical education this term will focus on running for distance "Huff and Puff" and Gymnastics developing co-ordination and a sequence of movements.
