Ginger Rogers Comes for a Visit!

Today Lenny's hen Ginger Rogers came to Room 5 for a surprise visit. We were all very excited and enjoyed learning about how hen's lay eggs. We thought she was pretty cool! Tomorrow we are going to create some fabulous writing about Ginger Rogers :) Ms Risk can't wait to read our stories.

The hen is called Ginger Rogers because she has ginger feathers.

We were all very excited! Room 4 came to see what all the fuss was about - she was very curious.

Ginger Rogers is a special type of hen that lays bluey greeny eggs (she is part araucana)!

Ginger Rogers likes to eat her greens like silver beet!

She was rustling her feathers and scratching under wings. Ginger likes to have a dust bath to keep clean.
