Christchurch Symphony Orchestra

WOW We had an amazing visit from the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra.

They were really great at playing their instruments and they were a little bit funny too! Especially when the flute player fell asleep and started snoring when the violin player was playing some soft music!

Some children were invited to play the musicians'  instruments - lucky.

The children were imagining the story of the music.

We used our bodies as percussion instruments.

The harp was a beautiful gold colour. Some of the strings had special colours to help the Harpist know which note she was playing.

Leila ( an x- Wise Owl) had the opportunity to conduct the orchestra!
